Song notes
The hope I am after here is not the everything-will-be-fine kind: it is more the I-can-still-keep-looking kind. After the awakening and that first gentle step, there needed to be a place to breathe before what comes next, and what comes next, fair warning, is not so calm.
It is the piece that leaves the most air between one note and the next. I call it hope because that is the word to hand, but for me it works above all as margin: the one you need before going into harder ground.

Hear it before anyone else
I share the news as it happens: new songs, giveaways, and anything that doesn't fit anywhere else. No noise: only when there's something to say.
