Phoenix Vega is an alias: under that name I release songs and instrumental pieces. I started with pieces to be heard calmly, went on to an album of ballads, and since then each song goes wherever it needs to go: pop, folk, a rock song, a summer night in Valencian. Most of it comes from what I remember and what I do not want to lose: family, the people who are no longer here, time passing. Each work has its own page, with the story of where it came from and its credits.

What Phoenix Vega is
About the project
Phoenix Vega is the alias I release what I compose under, and this website is its home: every work is here, with its story and its credits. It began with instrumental pieces; then came an album of ballads, songs for my father and for my mother, one in Valencian. I am now recording a good part of the catalogue again, song by song, so it sounds the way I want it to last. The biography tells how it started, how I work and what comes next.
