Song notes
I wanted the album to begin without noticing it had begun. No fanfare, just a change of light. When I think of a real awakening, it is hardly ever a spark. It is more like realising, late, that you have been awake for a while.
That is why this piece does not try to surprise. It opens slowly, almost on tiptoe, and lets clarity arrive before certainty. It is the door to the album, yes, but designed so that it hardly shows.

Hear it before anyone else
I share the news as it happens: new songs, giveaways, and anything that doesn't fit anywhere else. No noise: only when there's something to say.
