After seven songs saying things, I wanted to close the record by going quiet. This piece has no lyrics on purpose. It's the moment to switch the voice off and check that, under everything that had been sung, there was still a pulse. There's nothing to decode. It's a current that rises and falls for almost ten minutes, and it lets you stay wherever you want.
I thought of it as the reverse of the rest of the album: the other songs put words to different ways of loving, and this one takes them away and leaves only the temperature. It's long on purpose, to give you time to let go. And even without singing, the south is still there, in the harmony and in how the melody breathes. Like a copla with the words taken out that you would still understand.
